The Peach State Ladies Tour, a professional developmental tour for ladies is set to kick off it's 2009 schedule on June 2nd at Braelinn Golf Club in Peachtree City, Ga. A schedule of 15 events exclusively on Canongate Golf Courses in the Atlanta area is sure to draw many women with professional golf aspirations. The tour is formally the Peach State Professional Men's Tour, but the founders saw a true need for more devlopmental tours for ladies so the idea to create a tour for ladies was born. The tour is being created to give players a centralized tour that will include practice and playing memberships at Canongate Golf Clubs along with other amenities for the players including private housing.

A New Beginning

Wednesday March 11, 2009…Karl Diewock has been a professional golfer and teacher for 15 years now. He earned his experience by playing on many profeossional golf tours and circuits. As a player, Karl saw first hand what it took to operate a first class golf tour. His passion for the game led him to create the Peach State Professional Golf Tour, a developmental tour to help players like himself, have an low cost alternative to prepare themselves for the life of a professional golfer. "I started the PSPGT with the idea of creating a first class tour for the men. Atlanta is the perfect location geographically for a tour." Karl soon found out about the abundance of men's tours. "There are so many men's tours out there, it's so tough to distinguish yourself and attract the players." After a meeting with another professional Greg Hendrix, the two decided to change course.
