Clarkesville , GA... Michael Pearson wins on the first hole of a playoff against Major Manning to win The Orchard Classic. Both players fired opening round sixty-sixes and final round seventy-ones to tie at seven under par after regulation play. In the playoff, Manning's tee ball found the out of bounds and Pearson went on to win with a par. Ten players managed under par rounds on the beautiful and difficult Orchard course. Cody Hale with his final round sixty-six ties Matt Mincer for third place. Jay McLuen finishing at four under par rounds out the top five. The PSPGT is offering a pro-rated membership for the remainder of the 2010 schedule. Any player who is not yet a tour member can take advantage of the discounted membership and save money on entry fees. The pro-rated $300 membership will allow players to pay member pricing for the remainder of the season including the Tour Championship. This is a savings of $175 per tournament plus players can take advantage of the equipment deals offered to our tour members.
